OrthoGrid Systems, Inc., a leading innovator in surgical imaging, workflow efficiency and decision-making support in orthopedic surgery, today announced the opening of its new orthopedic technology research and education center in Strasbourg, France. This new subsidiary has been formed to partner with clinicians and healthcare stakeholders to accelerate the development and commercialization of medical innovations that deliver practical improvements to surgical efficiency, accuracy, and cost containment.

OrthoGrid chose France for its research and education center due to its longstanding history as an incubator of talent and source of significant medical innovations for the world, including implant designs, robotics, and advancements in surgical methods. Strasbourg, a city on the border with Germany, and the Grand-Est region of France have dedicated tremendous resources during the past several years to successfully establish a state-of-the-art medtech ecosystem.
